Saskatchewan invites 496 potential immigrants in new PNP draw Immigration candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination under the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories. Saskatchewan held a new immigration draw on August 19. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) invited a grand total of 496 candidates through two immigration programs. Of those invited, 161 may be eligible for the SINP’s Express Entry subcategory, and 335 through the Occupations In-Demand sub-category. There was a small difference in the Expression of Interest (EOI) score requirement for each category of applicants. Candidates invited to apply for the Express Entry subcategory needed a score of at least 71. Occupations in Demand candidates had a slightly smaller cutoff score at 70. Express Entry: CEC candidates need CRS of at least 403 to receive invitation in new draw Canada invited Express Entry candidates with Canadian work experience to apply for permanent residence. Canada invited 3,000 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence on August 19. Invited candidates needed to be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), with scores of at least 403. This is one point less than the previous CEC draw score cutoff. Candidates who had the minimum score were only included if they had submitted their profiles before August 01, 2021 at 10:13:57 UTC, as per the tie-break rule. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) publishes this detail as an administrative requirement, and it does not mean there was any actual tie. Why a CEC-only draw?
